Excitement fills the air as seniors gear up for graduation on June 13, 14, & 15 at the Hampton Coliseum

As the 2023-2024 school year is drawing to a close, Hampton City Schools is preparing for graduation at the Hampton Coliseum. The Division projects that approximately 1,373 students will receive their high school diplomas June 13 through 15, 2024.


Students from Kecoughtan High School will graduate on Thursday, June 13, at 7:00 p.m. There will be approximately 378 graduates to walk across the stage. The valedictorian is Bera Koklu and the salutatorian is Anna Brady.


Bethel High School will award diplomas to approximately 414 students on Friday, June 14, at 7:00 p.m. Daniella Brown is the school’s valedictorian and Trinity Robinson is the salutatorian.


Hampton High School, with approximately 247 graduates, will hold its graduation ceremony on Saturday, June 15 at 9:00 a.m. Jaliyah Gary-Williams is the school’s valedictorian and Amir Stanley and Christine Dang are the co-salutatorians.


A total of 334 students from Phoebus High School will graduate on Saturday, June 15, at 1:30 p.m. The school’s valedictorian is Christian Washington. Katalia Bowie is the salutatorian.


As of June 3, 2024, students in the class of 2024 have been offered more than $56,332,480 million in grants and scholarships.


The ceremonies will be held at the Hampton Coliseum, 1000 Coliseum Drive, Hampton. All guests (including children) will be required to have a ticket for entry. Please note that there is a dress code for attendees. No shorts or denim/jean attire of any color will be permitted.


Parking will be at a premium, so guests are encouraged to arrive early or carpool with family and friends.


Each of the ceremonies will be televised on the HCS PEG stations, Cox Channel 46 and Verizon FIOS Channel 20. The graduations will be rebroadcast beginning Thursday, JuneĀ 20. Click here for the schedule. DVDs and flash drives are available for purchase.
