HAMPTON CITY SCHOOLS GRADUATION CELEBRATION EVENTS

The Academies of Hampton Senior Conference is an event to celebrate, motivate, and graduate the Class of 2024! With graduation quickly approaching, we want to celebrate your accomplishments and motivate you for all the great things ahead.
Event style: Conference style. You will hear (1) keynote speaker and (1) specialty speaker in one of the following categories: resilience, money, postsecondary, and mental health.
Attire: Black-on-Black Fit with color accents
Transportation: You will be transported to and from your high school by school bus, which leaves at 9 AM and returns at 12 PM.
Permission Slip: You must return a permission slip or have one on file to attend.
This conference is all about YOU.

June 14 Bethel Graduation, 7:00 p.m.
June 15 Hampton Graduation, 9:00 a.m.
June 15 Phoebus Graduation, 1:30 p.m.
In an effort to ensure that everyone experiences an enjoyable graduation ceremony, we ask guests to follow the following guidelines and procedures:
Please adhere to the dress code printed on the reverse side of the graduation ticket.
Entrance doors will be closed once graduates are called to receive diplomas.
Seats will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
Limit celebration to polite and brief applause.
Aisles must remain clear; those video recording or taking photos should remain in their seats.
Items not permitted include: strollers, flowers, gifts, gift bags, balloons, banners, signs, laser lights and air horns.
All graduations will be streamed live on WHCS TV (Cox 46, Verizon Fios 20).
To order a graduation dvd or flash drive: Mail a money order or check (payable to Hampton City Schools) to: TV Services - 1819 Nickerson Blvd., Hampton, VA 23663
DVDs and flash drives are $20 each. Include a note with your check or money order indicating whether you want a dvd or flash drive and which school’s graduation ceremony. Also include your name and phone number as well as address where you would like the dvd or flash drive mailed.

Each high school’s valedictorian and salutatorian will be honored on the Coliseum’s digital marquee.

Interstate 64 and 664
Hampton City Hall, Hampton Roads Convention Center and Virginia Air and Space Science Center* will be lit up in each school’s colors on the designated evening listed above.
*The Virginia Air and Space Science Center will be illuminated in green for Kecoughtan and red for Hampton, as they are unable to display white.
