HCS seeking input on ARPA ESSER III funds
ARPA ESSER III funds were authorized under the American Rescue Plan and Hampton City Schools has been allocated $54.8 million. Of this amount, at least 20% of the funds must be spent to address learning loss. These grant funds are available through September 30, 2024.
Hampton City Schools is seeking input on the best ways to use ARPA ESSER III funds to address the following areas:
Learning Loss
Prevention and Mitigation Strategies (to safely operate schools)
Student Academic, Social, Emotional, and Mental Health Needs
Other Items to Address the Impact of COVID-19Please use the following survey link to provide feedback by June 1, 2021.
