Student leaders participate in Leadership Roundtable
Middle school student leaders at Andrews PreK-8 School, including middle school ambassadors, National Junior Honor Society members, and Guys with Ties participants, took part in a Leadership Roundtable facilitated by Hampton City Schools (HCS) chief of elementary school leadership and federal programs, Dr. Stacia Barreau. The discussion focused on leadership, community service, and being positive role models.
School Board chair Dr. Richard Mason and HCS superintendent Dr. Raymond Haynes stepped in as panelists, sharing insights on the value of surrounding oneself with like-minded peers, using influence to uplift others, and demonstrating integrity when leadership challenges arise.
“We are extremely proud of our students who are actively preparing to serve as future leaders,” shared Andrews principal Chanda Mason.
