Zion Parks, a senior at Phoebus High School, gives opening at the October 4 School Board meeting
Zion Parks, a senior at Phoebus High School, was selected to give the opening at the October 4, 2023, School Board meeting. He read an adaptation of A Hill We Climb by Amanda Gorman.
Zion is a part of the Academy of Digital Video Production. He is also a member of the school’s competition cheer team and serves as the Phantom mascot during events. He plans to attend college and major in film production.
Zion’s mother, Phoebus executive principal David Coccoli, and academy principals Vernita Brown, Dr. Lisa Incorminias, and Lindsay Jackson joined him at the meeting.
