Phenix PreK-8 School girls track team and Kilgore Gifted Center boys track team snags city championships

Congratulations to the Phenix PreK-8 School girls track team and the Kilgore Gifted Center boys track team for snagging the championship in their respective categories.

The Phenix girls team was led by Chiquita Harris-Cobb. The Kilgore boys team was led by coaches Del’Shon Bell and Danielle Smith.

“The Phenix family is beyond proud of each and every one of the girls for their incredible performance in securing the championship,” said Phenix principal Robin Hunt-Crenshaw. “They have shown what it means to push beyond limits, support each other, and never give up, even when the challenge seemed tough.
