Transportation Department has successful food drive for the Virginia Peninsula Food Bank
The Hampton City Schools transportation department, under the direction of Darrin Wills, collected 4,692 pounds of food for the Virginia Peninsula Food Bank at their second annual Fill the Bus event on Thursday, November 17, 2022. The food was delivered to Hampton’s Kroger to be included in the annual Mayflower Marathon event.
“Our transportation department showed up in a big way in giving, loading the buses, and unloading the food at Kroger during the Mayflower event,” said Darrin Wills, HCS director of transportation. “What a blessing!”
