Community Knights, Inc. awards $5,925 to Hampton City Schools
Community Knights, Inc. has awarded $5,925 to six Hampton schools and district programs through their quarterly GIFT grant program. Funding will be used for the Model General Assembly, fashion careers entrepreneurial supplies, books for academic and social emotional growth, and basketball shoes.
The awards to Hampton schools and programs are as follows:
Bethel High School Youth & Government Club – $1,825 – attending Model General Assembly
Bridgeport Academy – $1,000 – uniforms and hygiene items
Alternative Learning Center – $750 – winter celebration event
Kecoughtan Fashion Careers – $1,000 – fashion careers entrepreneurial supplies
Machen Elementary School/Family Engagement Program – $450 – books for academic and social emotional growth
Phoebus Girls Basketball – $900 – basketball shoes
