Bethel and Phoebus band students earn multiple scholarship offers

Congratulations to four Bethel High School and Phoebus High School band students for earning a combined total of $281,346 in music scholarship offers. The students are Jordon Cross of Bethel, Marvin Dennis of Bethel, Nadia Paige of Phoebus, and Trinity Robinson of Bethel.

The outstanding students received over twenty-four scholarship offers ranging between $4,000 and $34,500 yearly, with one four-year offer totaling $138,000.

“Throughout their middle and high school years, these students have demonstrated their citizenship, communication, and collaboration skills, freely giving back to their community using music. The critical thinking and leadership skills they have developed will serve them throughout their college years and beyond. The students are examples of how music education changes lives in HCS,” shared Kelly Dee, visual and performing arts curriculum leader.
