Annual Stuff the Bus event being held on August 2

 

State Farm Insurance and agent Mark Crump, is sponsoring their Annual Stuff the Bus event to collect school supplies on Saturday, August 2, 2025, for Hampton City Schools students. The bus will be onsite at the Hampton Kroger, located at 1050 West Mercury Blvd., from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

 

“As the new school year approaches, we recognize that many families face challenges in affording school supplies for their children,” said Crump. “That’s why, for the ninth year in a row, our office is proud to host a school supply drive to support the students of Hampton City Schools. As a proud graduate of HCS and a local business owner, I believe it’s both an honor and a responsibility to give back to the community that helped shape me.”

The Stuff the Bus event is held in partnership with School Board chairman Dr. Richard Mason and Kroger.

 

Donations such as composition books, folders, crayons, markers, paper, pencils, pens, notebooks, glue sticks, backpacks, etc. will be accepted.
