HCS students and staff participate in Sister Cities of Hampton South Africa Book Drive

On Saturday, January 7, 2023, students and staff from Eaton Fundamental Middle School and Syms Middle School participated in the Sister Cities of Hampton South Africa Book Drive. The event was held at the Northampton Community Center to collect books for the Libraries and Literacy Project through Sister Cities International. 

 

In February, Sister Cities International will host their summit in Cape Town, South Africa. Through Saturday's book drive, Sister Cities of Hampton collected over 1,000 books to send to elementary-aged students in Cape Town for the summit. 

 

The following HCS staff members and students assisted with the book drive, and Sister Cities of Hampton is very appreciative of their help:
