Asbury Elementary front entrance receives a makeover

The vision for the front entrance beautification project at Asbury Elementary School has come to fruition after a lot of planning and construction at the school.

This project, focused on enhancing the plants and garden spaces at the school’s entrance, was made possible by the hard work and dedication of wonderful community members. A special thank you goes out to the previous 2023 PTA members and their families, Ivette Ogle, Heather Thomas, Tiffany Rufty, Heather Brandon, as well as the incredible volunteers from Home Depot. Their time, energy, and commitment have transformed this space into a vibrant, welcoming environment just in time for the start of school.

This effort was also supported by a grant that the PTA received in 2023, providing the essential resources to bring this landscaping vision to life. 

 

“Asbury teachers and staff are very appreciative of the hard work of the 2023 SY PTA and the generous gift of their time and energies to create a beautiful welcoming area to Asbury,” said principal Elizabeth Franks. “All the plants and flowers highlight our new wonderful entrance and truly make Asbury shine. Thank you!”

 

“Due to a lot of hard work, Asbury Elementary now has a beautiful front garden area that will be enjoyed by students, staff, and visitors alike,” said Heather Thomas.
