Amazon donates school supplies
Amazon associates and supervisors collected and donated 144 school backpacks filled with school supplies for Hampton City Schools students. The donation was coordinated with the Hampton distribution center located on Mercury Boulevard and were received by Dr. Richard Mason, school board chair, Dr. Raymond Haynes, superintendent; Dr. John Caggiano, chief of staff; and Jennifer Oliver, director of community and government relations.
The supplies were delivered to the Merrimack Operations Center where they will be sorted and distributed to students.
Oliver shared, “Amazon has been a trusted community partner and has donated many hours of volunteer time, in-kind donations, and financial support. We are grateful for their lasting impact in our community and ensuring that our families, teachers, and students have the tools they need to be successful.”
