Eian and Ashtyn Temple, fifth graders at Peake Elementary School, give opening at April 1 School Board meeting

Eian and Ashtyn Temple, fifth graders at Peake Elementary School, were selected to lead the Pledge of Allegiance and give the opening at the April 1, 2026, School Board meeting. They shared the poem Mercy, by Rudy Francisco.

 

Eian and Ashtyn like football and basketball and they both say their favorite subject is math.

The boys’ parents, Peake principal Rodney Richardson, assistant principal Caitlin Orsborne, and fifth grade teacher Ashleigh Bynum joined them at the meeting.
