Jones Magnet Middle School cheer team wins second consecutive middle school championship

Congratulations to the Jones Magnet Middle School cheer team on an incredible achievement—winning the middle school championship for the second year in a row! The team delivered a standout performance to secure the title, with Phenix PreK-8 School earning a strong second-place finish.

 

The Jones team is led by coach Emani Braxton, along with student coach Taylor Reynolds, whose leadership and dedication continue to shine. Phenix PreK-8 is guided by coaches Karmen Gray and TyShea Carroll, whose team also delivered an impressive performance.

 

“We are incredibly proud of our Jones Magnet Middle School cheerleaders for their outstanding performance and well-deserved repeat win at the Hampton City Schools' Middle School Cheer Competition,” said Jones principal Dr. Heidi Brezinski. “Their hard work, dedication, and school spirit truly represent the excellence we strive for at Jones. They have set a powerful example of teamwork, perseverance, and pride for our entire school community.”
