Syms teacher Arnetta Hughes published in National Business Education Forum

Arnetta Hughes, business teacher at Syms Middle School, has been published in the National Business Education Forum Summer 2026 edition. Hughes contributed an editorial to the “From Colleague to Colleague” section, addressing the topic, “How Do You Keep Your Students’ Attention?”

 

Sponsored by the National Business Education Association (NBEA), the publication highlights best practices and insights from educators across the country. Hughes was the only teacher from Virginia selected to contribute to this edition, reflecting her expertise and commitment to engaging students in meaningful learning experiences.
