Cooper Elementary Magnet School for Technology raises over $4,200 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society
Students and staff have once again done an amazing job and collected $4,234.64 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. The school has participated in the fundraiser since 2015 and has raised over $14,000.
Beverly Palen’s first grade class won a glow party sponsored by the PTA by raising $871.78. In addition, one student from each grade level won the opportunity to throw a pie in the face of Cooper’s assistant principal Sandra Taylor. The winners are:

1st - Jonah Brown
2nd - Nils Hommerich
3rd -Josiah Downing
4th - Ruby Glazier
5th - Nylah Thomas
Parents were even getting into the spirit of giving and Karla Rhone, mother of kindergartner Zirone Rhone, won a parent parking spot for one week.
Maya Richardson, school counselor said, “Congratulations to everyone. You never cease to amaze me and you are always a blessing!”
