HCS school administrative center holds holiday door decorating contest

The Hampton City Schools administrative center held its first holiday door decorating contest with 16 offices participating.

The doors were judged on visual impact, creativity, design, and holiday theme. There was a winner selected for each of the second through fifth floors with an overall winner chosen from the four floors.

The judges were student volunteers from the Hampton Youth Commission and the senior youth planner Kyra Reed. The student judges were:

The winning doors were:

Second floor – Print Shop

Third floor – Human Resources

Fourth Floor – Social Studies

Fifth Floor – Innovation and Professional Learning

Overall winner – Innovation and Professional Learning

Each winner received a coveted bell award and the overall winner will receive a Continental breakfast in January.
