Seniors set to celebrate graduation at the Hampton Coliseum, June 11, 12 & 13
As the 2025–2026 school year winds down, Hampton City Schools is preparing to celebrate the accomplishments of its graduating seniors with ceremonies at the Hampton Coliseum. From June 11 to 13, the division expects to award diplomas to approximately 1,455 students. This milestone follows the early achievement of 69 students who earned associate degrees from Virginia Peninsula Community College on May 14.
Students from Hampton High School will graduate on Thursday, June 11, at 7:00 p.m. There will be approximately 306 graduates to walk across the stage. The valedictorian is Angela Chen and the salutatorian is Angelina Christie.
Phoebus High School will award diplomas to approximately 332 students on Friday, June 12, at 7:00 p.m. The valedictorian is Kaleb Lucas and Caitlin Chapman is the salutatorian.
Kecoughtan High School, with approximately 361 graduates, will hold its graduation ceremony on Saturday, June 13 at 9:00 a.m. Lam Le and Wai-Yun Quach are co-valedictorians and Tony Dinh is the salutatorian.
Approximately 456 students from Bethel High School will graduate on Saturday, June 13, at 1:30 p.m. The school’s valedictorian is Dhruhi Patel. Ava Tanner is the salutatorian.
As of May 28, 2026, students in the class of 2026 have been offered more than $66,631,343 in grants and scholarships.
The ceremonies will be held at the Hampton Coliseum, 1000 Coliseum Drive, Hampton. All guests (including children) will be required to have a ticket for entry. Please note that there is a dress code for attendees. No shorts or denim/jean attire of any color will be permitted.
Parking will be at a premium, so guests are encouraged to arrive early or carpool with family and friends.
Each of the ceremonies will be televised on the HCS PEG stations, Cox Channel 46 and Verizon FIOS Channel 20. The graduations will be rebroadcast beginning Monday, June 15. Click here for the schedule. DVDs and flash drives are available for purchase.
