Terry Daniel Gray, Jr., sixth grade student at Kilgore Gifted Center, gives opening at September 2 School Board meeting

 

Terry Daniel Gray, Jr., a sixth grade student at Kilgore Gifted Center, was selected to give the opening at the September 2, 2026, School Board meeting. He read a selection entitled The Builders, by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow.

Terry enjoys playing soccer, building things, traveling, playing with friends, and video games. His favorite subjects are math and band.

Terry’s parents, younger sister, and Kilgore principal Paul Lawrence joined him at the meeting.
