Hampton City Schools Academies of Hampton invites community members to participate in the 2026 Living Library, an 8th-grade learning experience taking place October 5–8, 2026, at Hampton University and the Hampton Main Public Library.

The Living Library is not a career expo. It is a community-connected learning experience where students learn directly from people making a difference, as they begin developing Capstone Projects focused on community impact.

Your story matters. Whether you make a difference through your profession, volunteerism, advocacy, business, neighborhood, hobby, or passion, your experiences can help students understand community needs, the work being done to address them, and how they can make an impact themselves.

Participate as a Community Conversations Panelist or Living Book and share your experiences through meaningful conversations with students.
