Anne Khau, freshman at Bethel High School, gives opening at the October 1 School Board meeting

Anne Khau, a freshman at Bethel School, was selected to lead the Pledge of Allegiance and give the opening at the October 1, 2025, School Board meeting. She shared a poem called Leisure, by William Henry Davies.

 

Anne plays the clarinet in the Mighty Bruin Marching Band and her favorite subject is math.

Her parents, as well as Dr. Tanya Howard, executive principal of Bethel, and academy principals Dr. Sharmaine Grove, Patrick McRae, Travis Oliver, and Cantrese Pace-Pierce joined her at the meeting.
