Aliyah Boyce displays original artwork at Supernova Ska Festival

Aliyah Boyce, a freshman at Kecoughtan High School, recently created and displayed an original piece of artwork at the Supernova Ska Festival at Fort Monroe. The festival was held September 13 through 15. Ska music embodies the spirit of unity, and Aliyah's artwork beautifully captures that theme and represents people of all different races and styles.

“This was a very new concept for me, and I really enjoyed getting to see different people all together and getting to see them all dance differently but together as a whole,” said Aliyah. “I went for a more stylized look with this piece and I personally would like to experiment more with the style. I am so honored to have had this opportunity and I hope people enjoy the piece.”
