Kilgore Gifted Center girls and boys track teams bring home city titles

Congratulations to the Kilgore Gifted Center girls and boys track teams for winning the middle school city titles. The girls team was led by coaches Danielle Smith and Alyson Mayers and the boys team was led by coach Del’shon Bell.

The girls team won with a final score of 67 points. The boys team had a final score of 77 points.

“KGC is so proud of our girls for bringing home their first HCS track championship,” said Kilgore principal Paul Lawrence. “All credit to coach Danielle Smith and our amazing parents for helping these girls to excel.”

Lawrence also shared, “KGC is happy and excited about our boys' track team winning their second straight HCS track championship. Thank you to coach Del’shon Bell and our parents for getting these boys ready for this amazing season. Let's go Seahawks!!”
