Patrick Elementary School honors veterans with visual display

Patrick Elementary School wanted to do something to honor veterans on Veterans Day. So, they came up with a great idea to create a Veterans Day wall with photos of veterans associated with their school, students, staff, and community.

“The idea kept growing and growing,” said Dr. Christine Rader Moore, counselor at Patrick. “The more we talked about it, the more we realized how many of our students had relatives who are veterans and also staff who also had relatives in the military or had served in the military. It is really exciting as the wall represents not only the veterans, but different wars and different branches of the military.”
