Phoebus High School students are awarded nearly $2 million in scholarships
Eight Phoebus High School JROTC students were honored on May 26, 2026, with scholarship checks totaling nearly $2 million. These scholarships, made possible through the support of Stand & Serve, a dedicated non-profit organization, pave the way for our students' bright futures by fostering partnerships with HBCUs, public universities, and the military.
David Coccoli, executive principal of Phoebus High School, warmly welcomed families and special guests to witness this momentous occasion. He highlighted that these scholarships not only provide financial support but also serve as a testament to the students' exceptional abilities, unwavering character, and limitless potential. Coccoli congratulated the scholarship recipients, acknowledging their daily commitment to greatness and their significant contributions to our school community.
“Congratulations to the students who were awarded scholarships,” said Coccoli. “These students truly demonstrate our purpose of greatness every day, in every way.”

Jamarie Hendley – Norwich University (Marines)
