Smith Elementary third grader places in Virginia School Boards Association art contest

Bailley Robinson of Smith Elementary School placed third in the elementary grades portion of the Virginia School Boards Association (VSBA) regional art contest. Bailley's teacher is Victoria Martin.

The VSBA Regional Art Contest was started in 1989 to promote the artistic talents of Virginia’s public school students. For each of the nine VSBA regions, a winner is chosen for the elementary, middle, and high school levels. The winning art is framed and displayed in the offices of the VSBA in Charlottesville.

“Bailley is an amazing art student. She is very thoughtful about her artwork and does a wonderful job,” said Martin. “She takes her time to pay attention to small details and craftsmanship. I am so proud of her.”

Congratulations, Bailley, on winning third place in the art contest—your hard work paid off. We are so proud of your creativity and unique style.
