Rhyan Foreman, fifth grader at Bryan Elementary School, gives opening at the March 12 School Board meeting

 

Rhyan Foreman, a fifth grader at Bryan Elementary School, was selected to give the opening at the March 12, 2025, School Board meeting. She read a poem entitled We Are Like Glass, widely credited to the National Liberty Museum in Philadelphia.

Rhyan enjoys participating in pageants, soccer, volleyball, singing and dancing. Her favorite subjects are science and math. She was recently highlighted by Katie Collett on WAVY TV-10 for her Kind is the new Kool initiative.

Rhyan’s mother, brother, Bryan principal Dr. Shanté Oniyide, and assistant principal Gregory McDoe, joined her at the meeting.
