Kecoughtan FBLA members advance to the State Leadership Conference in April
Kecoughtan High School’s Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) members took the opportunity to be challenged last month in the competitive events at the Colonial Regional Leadership Conference. The event was held virtually due to snow.
The following students were first place winners:
Anna Hoang, Accounting I
Ryleigh Matthews, Introduction to Business Communication
Alex Burns, Introduction to Financial Math
Cuong Bui, Human Resource Management
Second place winners included the following students:
Nathan Drake, Accounting I
Hannah Huff, Agribusiness
Layla Johnson, Computer Problem Solving
Amy Diep, Graphic Design
Saniyah Barrow, Introduction to Business Communication
Troi Rivers, Introduction to Business Presentation
Xavier Webb is a third place winner in Business Law, A’layah Woodberry placed fourth in Financial Math, and Abigail Matthews placed fifth in Journalism. The sixth place winners were Ashleigh Roland in Computer Problem Solving, Floyd McSwain IV, in Cybersecurity and Chrischelle Wilson in Human Resource Management.
Nine of the 16 members are eligible to compete in their events at the Virginia FBLA Leadership Conference, April 4-6, 2025 in Reston, VA.
