Finley Charron, fourth grader at Langley Elementary School, gives opening at June 3 School Board meeting

Finley Charron, a fourth grader at Langley Elementary School, was selected to lead the Pledge of Allegiance and give the opening at the June 3, 2026, School Board meeting. She shared a selection she wrote herself called My Dancing Life.

 

Finley likes dancing and acting. Her favorite subjects are art, music, and social studies.

Her parents, the Langley principal Brynne Cere, assistant principal Cheryl Hiers, and teachers Ashli Copeland and Annemarie Dickens joined her at the meeting.
