BHS student Dayla Philman places in 2025 NASA Langley Student Art Contest

Congratulations to Dayla Philman, a senior at Bethel High School, whose artwork earned honorable mention in the 2025 NASA Langley Student Art Contest, “What If.” Her piece, titled What If Stars Are People Trying to Find Their Way Home, was selected from more than 2,400 submissions nationwide.

 

Dayla is one of just nine winners in her grade-level category. Her work is now featured on the official NASA website, showcasing her extraordinary artistic talent to a global audience.

“Dayla’s exceptional talent and creativity truly set her apart, making this recognition both meaningful and well-deserved,” said Bethel art teacher Christie Liddell.
