Hampton City Schools announces top students in the Class of 2025 at Hampton High School

Nirmani Brahmbhatt – Co-Valedictorian


Nirmani is graduating high school with a 4.62 grade point average. Her activities include volunteering with BAPS, a non-profit spiritual organization, where she serves as a regional core team member and a key organizer and volunteers for spiritual and social events across the Northeast region for youth. At school she is involved in Key Club, National Honor Society-where she serves as the secretary, Rho Kappa, Science Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, and Speech Club.


Nirmani has been accepted to the University of Virginia, Virginia Tech, George Mason University, Drexel University, Old Dominion University, Virginia Commonwealth University, and William & Mary. She will be attending Old Dominion University in the fall and plans to major in computer science and hopes to acquire a masters before seeking a good job.


Fondest high school memory:

“One of my fondest high school memories is participating in Project Based Learning (PBL), where my team focused on raising awareness about human trafficking. We partnered with Walmart and went shopping to provide supplies for victims of human trafficking. It was a truly enjoyable experience, and I learned a lot from the opportunity to make a positive impact on such an important issue.”


A tradition at school you will miss:

“I will miss the sayings – have a craberiffic and crabtastic day!”


An achievement you are most proud of:

“I am proud that I was able to successfully balance my community and religious activities with my school commitments.”


I am proud to be an HCS graduate because:

“I am proud to be an HCS graduate because it has helped me grow into the person I am today. I’ve received incredible support from both my teachers and friends They have pushed me to do my best academically, helping me overcome challenges and reach my goals.”


If you could thank a teacher who had the greatest impact on you, who would it be and why?

“I would like to thank my fourth grade teacher Mrs. McNeill, who had a huge impact on my education. She pushed me to excel in my studies and always believed in my potential. When I was struggling in school, she took extra time to help me improve, ensuring I could do my best and succeed.”



Nishtha Brahmbhatt – Co-Valedictorian


Nishtha has a 4.62 grade point average graduating from high school. She is a regional core team member for BAPTS iBKY, a Balika Karyakar at BAPS Local Temple, and participates in various community events at the local temple. She is a member of the Spanish Honor Society, Speech and Forensics Team, National Honor Society, Rho Kappa Honor Society, Science Honor Society, and Key Club at HHS.


Nishtha has been accepted to University of Virginia, Virginia Tech, Virginia Commonwealth University, George Mason University, Drexel University, Old Dominion University, and William & Mary. She will attend Old Dominion University and plans to major in mechanical engineering, pursue a master’s and then find a rewarding job.


Fondest high school memory:

“My fondest high school memory is doing a Secret Santa with my friends. It was a lot of fun and brought us all closer together.”


A tradition at school you will miss:

“I will miss the sayings – have a craberiffic and crabtastic day!”


An achievement you are most proud of:

“An achievement I am most proud of is getting second place at the speech competition. I have major stage fright, so being able to perform well and place so highly was a huge accomplishment for me. It was really surprising and rewarding to overcome my fears and achieve that success.”


I am proud to be an HCS graduate because:

“I am proud to be an HCS graduate because of the supportive community that has helped me reach the point where I am today. The encouragement from teachers, staff, and peers has played a crucial role in my growth, and I’m grateful for the opportunities I have had to learn, develop, and prepare for the future.”


If you could thank a teacher who had the greatest impact on you, who would it be and why?

“If I could thank a teacher who had the greatest impact on me, it would be Mrs. Parsons, my middle school librarian. She helped me step out of my comfort zone and was incredibly supportive throughout my middle school years. Her encouragement made a big difference in my personal growth and confidence.”


Noemi Flores– Salutatorian


Noemi has a grade point average of 4.5. She is active in the HHS marching and symphonic band, varsity softball, Hampton Youth Commission, Rho Kappa Honor Society, National Honor Society, Tri-M Honor Society, Science National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta Honor Society, GSA, and served through STEM and PAC.


Noemi was accepted to University of Virginia, George Mason University, James Madison University, Old Dominion University, Christopher Newport University, and Virginia Commonwealth University. She will attend the University of Virginia and plans to be on the pre-med track majoring in human biology. After graduation she wishes to pursue becoming a pediatrician.


Fondest high school memory:

“My fondest high school memory is the Warrior Classic 2024 when we won second place overall and a few other category awards.”


A tradition at your school you will miss:

“I will miss this from the morning announcements: at THE Hampton High School.”


An achievement you are most proud of:

“I am proud of being able to have fun and balance my academics and extracurriculars.”


I am proud to be an HCS graduate because:

“I am proud to be an HCS graduate because my city has fostered a community of perseverance and has provided me with several opportunities. Therefore, I am proud to say I am a representation of Hampton City Schools and an example for future generations.”


If you could thank a teacher who had the greatest impact on you, who would it be and why?

“I would thank my band director, Mr. Bell because of his unwavering support and he has always believed in me. Since the summer of my freshman year, he has helped me and has seen all of my successes and failures. Through all of that he has never doubted me and would push me to strive for greatness. I am truly grateful for his guidance and how much he has helped me grow.”
