Annual Stuff the Bus event being held on August 8

 

State Farm Insurance and agent Mark Crump, is sponsoring their Annual Stuff the Bus event to collect school supplies on Saturday, August 8, 2026, for Hampton City Schools students. The bus will be onsite at the Hampton Kroger, located at 1050 West Mercury Blvd., from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

 

“As families prepare for a new school year, the cost of school supplies can be a burden for many,” said Crump. “For the 10th year in a row, our office, along with School Board Chair Dr. Richard Mason, is honored to host this school supply drive to help ensure Hampton City Schools students have the tools they need to succeed. As a proud HCS graduate and local business owner, giving back to the community that has given so much to me is both a privilege and a responsibility.”

The Stuff the Bus event is held in partnership with School Board Chairman Dr. Richard Mason and Kroger.

 

Donations such as composition books, folders, crayons, markers, paper, pencils, pens, notebooks, glue sticks, backpacks, etc. will be accepted.
