Hampton High School boys soccer team wins sportsmanship award

Congratulations to the Hampton High School boys varsity soccer team. The team has been selected by the Peninsula Soccer Officials Association (PSOA) as the recipient of the Peninsula District Boys High School Sportsmanship Award for the Spring 2025 season.

 

One of the core goals of the Peninsula Soccer Officials Association is to promote fair play and sportsmanship amongst all participants of the game. To honor teams that best exemplify these values, the PSOA presents a High School Sportsmanship Award each season to one varsity boys team and one varsity girls team from both the Bay Rivers District and Peninsula District.

 

“We commend the student-athletes, coaches, athletic department, and administration for prioritizing sportsmanship and representing Hampton High School in such a positive and respectful manner,” said Don Samuels, high school commissioner of PSOA.
