School Board member Joe Kilgore is re-elected to VSBA Executive Committee

Joseph Kilgore was officially re-elected to the Virginia School Boards Association’s (VSBA) Executive Committee. He will again serve as chair of the association’s standing finance/audit committee. This committee handles the responsibilities of the Board of Directors (BOD) between meetings and drafts and recommends the annual budget for their approval.

Kilgore said, “VSBA is truly a great organization and I am proud to serve as the chair of the VSBA Audit/Finance Committee.”

In his time on the Hampton School Board he has served as both chair and vice chair, as well as representing the board numerous times at the VSBA Delegate Assembly and has numerous VSBA Awards of Distinction.
