Brianna Lozano Munguia, fifth grade student at Bryan Elementary School, gives opening at August 5 School Board meeting

 

Brianna Lozano Munguia, a fifth grade student at Bryan Elementary School, was selected to give the opening at the August 5, 2026, School Board meeting. She read an original poem entitled Two Languages, One Dream.

Brianna enjoys listening to music and being involved with SCA. Her favorite subject is math.

Brianna was joined at the meeting by her mother, father, and younger brother, along with Bryan principal Mr. Collins; assistant principal Mrs. Hammond; school counselor Ms. Hart; reading specialist Ms. Matkins; and teachers Mrs. Leetch, Mrs. Jung, Mrs. McNett, Ms. Malmgren, and Ms. Pearson.
