Makenzy Ranger, eighth grader at Eaton Fundamental Middle School, gives opening at the August 6 School Board meeting

Makenzy Ranger, an eighth grader at Eaton Fundamental Middle School, was selected to lead the Pledge of Allegiance and give the opening at the August 6, 2025, School Board meeting. She read a poem entitled Teamwork by Edgar Albert Guest.

 

Makenzy’s favorite subject is history and she enjoys playing volleyball and softball.

Her parents, her brothers, and her Nana joined her at the meeting.
