Hampton City Schools celebrates 2024 summer graduates

Hampton City Schools is excited to have honored our summer graduates at the 2024 summer commencement on August 8, 2024, at Kecoughtan High School.

The event included greetings from School Board Chair Dr. Richard Mason and remarks from Superintendent Dr. Raymond Haynes. Nivek Samuels of Kecoughtan High School provided a student welcome. Daniel Shakifini of Phoebus High School and Amanda Gomez of Bethel High School served as the class speakers, and Essenze Payne of Hampton High School led the turning of the tassel ceremony. Serenity Jones of Phoebus High School gave closing remarks.
