Syms Middle School competes in FBLA Middle Level State Leadership Conference

Seventh grade students from Syms Middle School participated in the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) Middle Level State Leadership Conference on March 7, 2026, in Henrico, Virginia. Competing in the Exploring Animation event, the students earned a fourth-place finish and qualified for the National Leadership Conference in San Antonio, TX, taking place June 29 to July 3.

 

Business teacher Arnetta Hughes praised the group, saying, “They were dressed for success and exemplified excellent behaviors. I am so proud of them. Yes! They are our future Business Leaders.”

 

The students’ performance reflects their effort, preparation, and continued growth in career-focused learning experiences.
