High school students place in Hampton Woman’s Club art show


On Friday, April 18, 2025, the Hampton Woman’s Club hosted a reception to honor the 2025 Student Art Contest winners. Middle and high school students were recognized for their outstanding works using a variety of media, including pencil drawing, painting, digital art, fiber arts, and sculpture. The Hampton Woman’s Club Art Contest is held annually to support, encourage, and celebrate the artistic achievements of young student artists across Hampton.


The winners are as follows:


High School:

1st Place: Jiselle Banks, Kecoughtan High School, Art Teacher: Ms. Brooks

2nd Place: Nakia Boykin, Phoebus High School, Art Teacher: Mr. Hakanson

3rd Place: Jennifer Bui Cao, Kecoughtan High School, Art Teacher: Ms. Brewer

Honorable Mentions:

Haley Ross, Kecoughtan High School, Art Teacher: Ms. Brewer

Phan Le, Bethel High School, Art Teacher: Ms. Thayer


Middle School:
