Kecoughtan senior Cuong Bui places first at FBLA State Leadership Conference

Cuong Bui, a senior at Kecoughtan High School (KHS), member of the Academy of Entrepreneurship and Information Design, and second year FBLA member, competed in the Human Resource Management event at the Future Business Leaders of America State Leadership Conference (SLC) in Reston, VA, April 4-5, 2025. Cuong is eligible to compete at the National Leadership Conference in Anaheim, CA in June. After graduation, he plans to attend Old Dominion University to major in computer engineering.

Mona Dozier, KHS FBLA adviser states, “Cuong has been determined to do his very best in everything that he pursued since coming to Kecoughtan two years ago. He was so excited to get first place and he was extremely happy to receive his trophy and banner on the awards stage at the SLC. I was so happy for him!”
