Ninth Annual Run 4 the Stage 5K to support college scholarships

The Hampton City Schools 9th Annual Run 4 the Stage 5K will be held on May 11, 2024, at Sandy Bottom Nature Park in Hampton. Registration is at 8:00 a.m. and the race begins at 9:00 a.m. The Run for the Stage 5K is held to support on-time graduation by providing funding for community college scholarships. 

The 2023 was a huge success raising over $9,300. The event offered ten 2023 HCS graduates with $2,000 scholarships to assist with their college expenses. The Run 4 the Stage event has raised over $121,700 in the last eight years. 

Entry fees are as follows: $25 individual; $10 student; team rate: $20 individual/$8 student. Your entry fee includes a chance for door prizes, a swag bag, and t-shirt (register by 4/19/24 to guarantee a t-shirt). You may register here. 

Sponsorships are available at the following levels: Spotlight Level - $5,000; Stage Level - $1,000; Diploma Level - $500; Cap and Gown Level - $250; and Tassel Level - $100. Visit the website here.
