TrAIL Academy students take top honors in Congressional App Challenge

TrAIL Academy (Academy of Transportation, Analytics, Information, and Logistics), located at Bethel High School, a hub for innovation and technology, is proud to announce the outstanding achievement of its students, Daylon Smith and Cameron Love, in the prestigious Congressional App Challenge.


The dynamic duo secured first place for their groundbreaking app, HBCU Connect, which aims to strengthen connections and resources among Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). This recognition propels them to the national stage, where they will present their app to Congress.

HBCU Connect is more than just an app; it's a testament to the creativity and vision of our students. Daylon and Cameron have ingeniously designed a platform that fosters collaboration, provides valuable resources, and celebrates the rich heritage of HBCUs.
